This unit is in very good condition except for a missing handle. Basic functionality has been tested in an interferometer. However, the sensor inputs and HPIB have NOT been tested, but they will be covered by the warranty. I've been told that this system was checked out by a commercial test equipment reseller.

The warranty is as follows:

• First 10 days: If the system fails to meet HP/Agilent specifications for the 5508A, buyer may opt for 100 percent refund, free repair, or replacement (if available). The unit may be returned for any other reason including that the case color doesn't match your decor for a 90 percent refund.

• Next 80 days: If the system fails to meet HP/Agilent specifications for the 5508A, free repair or replacement will be provided, or 75 percent refund of purchase price if repair or replacement is not possible.

After 90 days, repair will be available on a time/materials basis.

Warranty void if failure resulted from improper installation, incorrect power wiring or voltages, lack of cooling, physical shock, being run over by a 10 ton truck, dropped down a flight of stairs, etc. Warranty excludes shipping.
