HP/Hewlett Packard/Agilent 5517B Laser Heads/Transducers
These 5517B lasers are all in very good functional and cosmetic condition with
measured output power when locked (READY solid) of more than 450
µW, which are
probably close to new values. They all start instantly,
run reliably, and lock normally with a clean REF signal, and
have been tested in an interferometer setup for at least 8 hours.
The laser currently for sale has a REF frequency of about 2.4 MHz,
which means it actually meets 5517C specifications.

Since lasers such as the HP-5517 may be used in demanding aplications, the
following 90 day warranty shall apply:
- First 10 days: If the laser fails to meet HP/Agilent specifications
for the 5517B, buyer may opt for 100 percent refund, free repair, or
replacement (if available). The laser may be returned for any other
reason including that the case color doesn't match your decor for a
90 percent refund.
- Next 80 days: If the laser fails to meet HP/Agilent specifications
for the 5517B, free repair or replacement will be provided, or 75 percent
refund of purchase price if repair or replacement is not possible.
After 90 days, repair will be available on a time/materials basis.
Warranty void if failure resulted from improper installation, incorrect
power wiring or voltages, lack of cooling, physical shock, being run over
by a 10 ton truck, dropped down a flight of stairs, etc. Warranty excludes
shipping.
