Note that the black aperture/shutter wheel is not present due to the way these lasers were originally mounted. This is of no consequence except that the smaller "Alignment Aperture" can't be selected. But a piece of tape with a hole punched in it will serve just as well. :) Or, the front plate from your old laser can be installed.

Since lasers such as the HP-5517 may be used in demanding aplications, the following 90 day warranty shall apply:

• First 10 days: If the laser fails to meet HP/Agilent specifications for the 5517B, buyer may opt for 100 percent refund, free repair, or replacement (if available). The laser may be returned for any other reason including that the case color doesn't match your decor for a 90 percent refund.

• Next 80 days: If the laser fails to meet HP/Agilent specifications for the 5517B, free repair or replacement will be provided, or 75 percent refund of purchase price if repair or replacement is not possible.

After 90 days, repair will be available on a time/materials basis.

Warranty void if failure resulted from improper installation, incorrect power wiring or voltages, lack of cooling, physical shock, being run over by a 10 ton truck, dropped down a flight of stairs, etc. Warranty excludes shipping.
