Title: SPICECAD Version: 1.0 Description: SPICECAD is a schematic entry for the anlog simulator SPICE3f4/5. It allows graphical entry of electric circuits, generation of netlists , simulation of these netlists, and backannotation of the results. All SPICE3 devices are supported. Additional simulation types are monte-carlo, parametric sweep and circuit optimization. The design can be hierarchical. spicecad.1-0.tar.gz (3394Kb!!)
You can also get the files from a 'mirror' site ftp.canberra.edu.au in directory /pub/ise/cad/ and files:
Note: You're supposed to unGZIP and unTAR everything and then type "cad -c first"
These programs will require the use of some uncompressing utilities. A good source is Aminet at URL http://ftp.wustl.edu/~aminet/browse.html
Mirrors of Aminet exist in countries other than USA.
There is also a fix for Amiga's Math library to help it conform to IEEE standards. You can get it from any of these mirrors:

This is a full port of Spice3f5. All device models and analyses in the 3f5 distribution have been included. The full simulator has been built, but the stand-alone "nutmeg" has not (nutmeg is spice without any simulation capabilities). "proc2mod" and "multidec" have been included and seem to generate reasonable output. The previous version was called "spice3f4", but the patches I had already applied to it made it identical to 3f5 (with the exception of the patch number). [..] Requirements -- AmigaOS 2 or better. -- A few megs of ram. (I don't know really. The full executable is about a megabyte.) [..]Note: You will probably need some Archive Program to to uncompress these.

I have been assured by the SAS folks that the executables will run just fine on the 68020 and the 68030.Note: You will probably need some Archive Program to to uncompress these.
I don't have a .lha de-compressor so I can't give any more info. If anyone gets this working, I would appreciate what hardware you needed, how it works, and how good it is. Thanks.
You can get it from the following mirrors:
Can anyone tell me what hardware this runs on? Thanks.

Can anyone tell me if this is worth keeping on this list? Thanks.

The evaluational version of MicroSim PSpice will let you know if the circuit is too large. A dialog box is displayed with a message telling you the circuit is too large. I have found that the maximum circuit size varies with the type of simulation. Unfortunately, the size limitation is severe. You can barely analyze an audio power amp circuit or a circuit with 1 opamp if you use their opamp library. I generally have to create my own simplified models to analyze a moderatly sized circuit.
